Lottie Dolls are inspired by real children to empower and celebrate childhood. Like ordinary children they have a wide range of interests - being outdoors, doing physical activity, being creative.
The newest Lottie Doll is inspired by a real life mini activist. Mary Copeny has been a vocal representative for the children of Flint, Michigan, where there hadn’t been any clean water since 2014. At the age of 8 Mary wrote to President Obama asking him to meet with her at the congressional hearings to discuss the Flint Water Crisis. He responded with a letter announcing he would be coming to Flint to ensure the people there receive ‘the help they need and deserve.’ This Lottie Doll is a great way to inspire children to use their voice to make positive changes.
